Trakora began in 2023 when our founders sat with a fleet manager who had three different tracking platforms, a spreadsheet for bookings, and no way to know if a container had been tampered with.
Existing tools were either built for European fleets, priced in USD, or required someone in Nairobi to push a config change. We set out to build something that runs in TZS, is supported in Dar, and treats GPS, RFID, NFC, BLE and IoT sensors as one unified event stream.
Today we serve depots, retailers, hospitals, schools, and shippers across Tanzania — with a small team that still installs hardware in person.
