Honest about mobile-money renewal
No silent auto-debit on your wallet
Mobile money in Tanzania cannot be charged silently each month — every payment needs you to approve a fresh USSD push on your phone. So the subscription lives in your Trakora account and, at each cycle, we send a renewal reminder and a new payment request for you to approve. You are never charged without a prompt you can see and confirm. A card, if you use one, follows the card issuer's own rules.
Hardware and deployment
The monthly per-device subscription is published. The e-lock hardware and install are quoted per deployment — where a price is not sourced, the cell reads —, never a guess.

The monthly subscription is the software price. The e-locks themselves, their SIMs and the install are quoted per deployment, because that depends on how many devices you run and where they operate.

Honest limits — what the subscription is, and is not
- Trakora is an operations and monitoring platform. It is not an accredited customs seal system, and the e-lock is not marketed as a TBS-approved or certified seal. It records and proves chain-of-custody with a signed PDF audit trail; it does not replace a TRA/TPA-mandated customs seal where one is legally required.
- The published prices are the software subscription. E-lock hardware, SIMs and install are quoted per deployment and shown as — here, never as an invented number.
- Enterprise is scoped above 50 devices; no figure is printed because none is quoted until we have scoped your deployment.
- Mobile money cannot be silently re-charged — renewal is a reminder plus a fresh approval each cycle, not a stored auto-debit.

How much does container e-lock tracking cost?

Is the e-lock hardware included in the price?
No — the monthly figure is the software subscription. The Mobicom GL600 e-locks, their SIMs and install are quoted per deployment, so those cells show — rather than a guessed number.
Can I subscribe and pay online?
Yes. Container e-lock tracking is a self-serve module — you can subscribe and pay in TZS by M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, Halotel or card, with a VAT invoice.
Will my wallet be auto-charged every month?
No. Mobile money cannot be silently re-charged in Tanzania. We send a renewal reminder and a fresh payment request each cycle, and you approve it with a USSD PIN on your phone — you are never debited without a prompt.
Is the e-lock a TBS-approved customs seal?
No. Trakora is a monitoring platform, and the e-lock is not marketed as a TBS-approved or certified customs seal. It proves chain-of-custody with a signed audit trail; it does not replace a mandated customs seal where one is legally required.
What happens above 50 devices?
The account moves to Container Enterprise, which is scoped and quoted rather than listed. We will not publish a number we have not quoted against your deployment.
