GPS protocol → server port reference

Trakora's gateway is Traccar-compatible and listens on protocol-specific TCP ports. Send your device to the right port or it will be silently dropped at the firewall. Server hostname for all production traffic: gw.trakora.co.tz.

Common ports (Tanzania-popular devices)

| Brand / Family | Protocol | Port | |---|---|---| | Concox / Goolab GT06 family | gt06 | 5023 | | Teltonika FM, FMB, FMC | teltonika | 5027 | | Suntech | suntech | 5011 | | Meitrack | meitrack | 5020 | | Queclink | queclink | 5021 | | Coban / TK103 / TK303 | gps103 | 5001 | | Xexun / TK102 | xexun | 5005 | | H02 — many cheap clones | h02 | 5013 | | Megastek | megastek | 5028 | | Watch trackers (TK911 family) | watch | 5093 |

SMS command pattern

Most Concox/GT06 devices accept:

SERVER,1,gw.trakora.co.tz,5023,0#
APN,internet#
GPRS,1#
TIMER,30,30#

Most Teltonika devices are configured via the Configurator app over USB and pointed at gw.trakora.co.tz:5027.

How to verify

  1. Power on the device with a SIM that has data.
  2. Send the SMS commands above.
  3. In Trakora go to Admin → Devices → Last seen. You should see the IMEI within 60 seconds.
  4. If you see unknown device it usually means the right port but unbound — bind in Admin → Unbound queue.
  5. If nothing arrives, see Device not reporting — checklist.

Custom protocols

We support 200+ protocols via Traccar — if your device isn't listed, WhatsApp us with the model and we'll confirm the port within an hour.
