Fleet management software pricing in Tanzanian shillings
Fleet management from Trakora is priced in Tanzanian shillings: a monthly plan scaled to how many vehicles you run, plus a one-off tracking device fitted per vehicle in Dar es Salaam. Plans start at TZS 8,000 a month for a single vehicle and scale to hundreds, billed by M-Pesa with a VAT invoice.
Priced in TZS. Plan monthly, device once. Renewal is a fresh mobile-money approval each cycle — never a silent auto-debit.

Solo, Starter and Pro prices and the GT06N, FMB920 and SIM figures are the published fleet prices in TZS. Enterprise reads Custom because it is scoped per fleet, and unlisted devices read — because they are quoted per deployment — never invented on this page. VAT is charged per Tanzanian law and shown on the invoice.
Subscribing and renewing, honestly
Payments run on Tanzanian mobile money and card, in TZS. One thing is worth being clear about up front: renewal.
Choose the plan and count your vehicles
Pick Solo, Starter or Pro by how many vehicles you run, and choose a device per vehicle. The plan is monthly; the device is a one-off, published price.
Approve the first payment
You get a USSD push on M-Pesa, Airtel Money or Mixx by Yas and enter your PIN, or you pay by card. The charge is in whole TZS.
Get fitted and go live
A technician fits each unit in Dar es Salaam and the vehicles appear on your live map, usually within 5 minutes of power-up.
Renew each cycle with a fresh approval
Before the cycle ends you get a renewal reminder and a fresh USSD push to approve. The subscription record lives in Trakora; the payment is a new approval you make each time.
No silent auto-debit on mobile money
Tanzanian mobile money requires you to approve every charge with your PIN, so there is no card-on-file that quietly debits you each month. Trakora reminds you and pushes a fresh approval instead. Card payment may support saved tokens for true auto-renew — that is confirmed per account, not assumed here.

Frequently asked questions
How much does fleet management software cost in Tanzania?
Plans are published in TZS by fleet size: TZS 8,000 a month for Solo, TZS 35,000 a month for Starter up to 10 vehicles, and TZS 500,000 a month for Pro up to 250 vehicles. On top of the plan, each vehicle needs a one-off device — a TZS 95,000 GT06N or a TZS 180,000 FMB920, fitted.
Is the plan priced per vehicle or per plan?
Per plan, with a vehicle cap. Starter covers up to 10 vehicles and Pro up to 250 on one price, rather than charging a separate seat for every vehicle. The device is the only per-vehicle cost, and it is a one-off.
Will I be auto-debited every month?
Not on mobile money. Tanzanian mobile money requires you to approve every charge with your PIN, so Trakora sends a renewal reminder and a fresh USSD push each cycle rather than debiting a card on file. Card payment may support a saved token for true auto-renew, confirmed per account.
Which payment methods can I use, and is there a VAT invoice?
M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, and card — all in Tanzanian shillings. A VAT invoice is issued in TZS with VAT charged per Tanzanian law.
What if my fleet is bigger than 250 vehicles?
That is Enterprise, scoped per fleet with volume device and plan pricing, cross-border roaming SIM options and a named contact. The price reads Custom here because it depends on your size and where you run — tell us and we quote it in writing.
Does the plan include maintenance and driver features?
Starter adds maintenance schedules, service reminders, driver directory and vehicle groups; Pro adds full driver behaviour scoring and remote commands. See the maintenance and driver behaviour pages for what each does.
