Login problems

Most login issues fall into one of five buckets. Identify yours below.

1. Forgot password

  • On the login page click Forgot password.
  • Enter the email on your account.
  • Check email for a reset link (valid 60 minutes).
  • Set a new password — minimum 10 characters, mixed case, one number.

If the reset email never arrives, check spam or WhatsApp us with the address.

2. Account locked

After 5 failed login attempts Trakora locks the account for 15 minutes. The lock auto-clears. To clear immediately, an org_admin can unlock at Admin → Users → Unlock.

3. Email not verified

If your account was created less than 24 hours ago and you haven't clicked the verification email, login is restricted. Click Resend verification on the login page.

4. Role not set

A user invited but not yet assigned a role can sign in but sees an empty dashboard. The org_admin must set a role at Admin → Users → Edit → Roles.

5. 2FA code not received

  • If you use authenticator app — the code rotates every 30 seconds; make sure your phone clock is correct (Settings → Date & time → Automatic).
  • If you use SMS 2FA — wait 30 seconds for the SMS, then tap Resend.
  • If you've lost your 2FA device, use a recovery code (printed when you set up 2FA) or contact an org_admin to reset 2FA on your behalf.

6. SSO / Google login

If your workspace requires SSO (Pro and Enterprise) and you try a password login you'll be redirected. Use the Google or Microsoft button on the login page.

Other things to try

  • Clear cookies for app.trakora.co.tz and try again.
  • Try a different browser.
  • Check that your network can reach app.trakora.co.tz — corporate firewalls sometimes block CDN edges.
