Hotel
The Hotel module covers RFID room keys, room-asset tracking (TVs, kettles, bedding), and a housekeeping rounds workflow with a built-in cleanliness audit. It runs on a Trakora Hotel Edge box with 1–4 fixed readers and a Chainway handheld.
1. Issue a keycard
- Front desk picks the room and check-out date.
- Tap Issue key. Place a blank Mifare card on the desk encoder.
- The card is encoded with a one-way token; the lock validates it offline.
- Issue extra cards for additional guests (up to 4 per booking by default).
A guest who tries to enter after their check-out time is silently denied; a soft alert reaches the front desk.
2. Lost key
- Front desk → Bookings → Find booking → Re-issue key.
- Trakora bumps the room's key-rotation counter; all previously issued cards become invalid.
- Encode a new card and hand it over.
3. Room asset tracking
Tag durable assets with UHF stickers:
- TVs, mini-fridges, kettles, hairdryers, irons
- Bedding sets, towel sets (washable laundry tags)
- Bathroom amenities (high-shrink items)
A handheld sweep at check-out reconciles the room in 10 seconds. Missing items trigger a guest charge or, if found, a misplacement note for housekeeping.
4. Housekeeping rounds
Each housekeeper carries a Chainway C66. The app shows their rooms in priority order (early checkouts first).
For each room the housekeeper:
- Scans the door tag — Trakora marks the room as being cleaned.
- Walks a checklist (bed, bathroom, mini-bar, towels, supplies).
- Photographs anything irregular.
- Scans the door tag again to mark ready.
Front desk can release the room as soon as it flips to ready.
5. Cleanliness audit (MoH-style)
Supervisors run spot audits — a 25-point checklist on bedding, surfaces, bathroom hygiene, smell, dust, mini-bar stock. Failures are routed back to the housekeeper with photo evidence and a re-clean is scheduled.
6. Reports
- Occupancy by room type and date
- Average clean time per housekeeper
- Asset shrinkage by month
- Guest no-show keys
All exportable to CSV / PDF.
